Four days after the Daniel Caesar & Omar Apollo concert in NYC, I took the train to Montreal to see Reneé Rapp. I had missed the meet-and-greet tickets in Toronto, but there were still some left for Montreal. I knew I wouldn't be able to afford the meet-and-greet on her next tour so I got them.

Tourism Moment - OTW to M Telus
I had a few hours before I had to leave so I mostly spent them watching cartoons and then used the last 20 minutes to actually get ready.

I swear the VIP line was longer than the regular one. I didn't really make line-friends but, I met these two sisters who were super nice! There were also like a hundred million bikers outside of the restaurant across the street and we were all really confused about what was going on.

Day Two
Montreal is always such a fun time and I'll definitely be returning for more concerts!!

VIA moment

I wanted to walk to the venue so I could get some sightseeing in as well. To be honest, I can't really remember where I went but here are some photos!
Once I got inside, I browsed the merch table, but there wasn't anything I really wanted, so I ran to the pit to secure my spot. Towa Bird and Alexandre, 23, were pretty good openers. I felt like sonically, they both made sense as supporting acts for Reneé. Also, Towa is just one of the coolest people ever.
Thank goodness for Matthew, Liliana and Sierra, who were standing in front of me. They were so much fun to stand next to! We later met Evan and Sarah, who were behind us. Honestly, they were such a fun group of concert friends. Oh! And Matthew got one of the drumsticks from one of the opening sets, LOL.

Reneé was EVERYTHING. Her stage presence was electric. I'm pretty sure we all lost our voices from screaming every time she moved, LOL. Miss girl tore it up FR. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Toronto crowds are TERRIBLE. Of course, there are some exceptions, but I don't think I've ever been to a louder concert than this one. The Montreal fans BROUGHT IT. My favourite songs she performed were "Talk too much," "Snow Angel," and "In the Kitchen" (duh). Justice for "Everything to Everyone," though.
After the concert, we waited an eternity to meet the queen herself. When it was finally my turn, I kind of blacked out, so I barely remember anything. I have the video saved somewhere so I'll put that in the vlog. Because we were in line for Reneé for so long, I didn't think we would have a chance to meet Towa or Alexander, but we did!!! I'm still gagged I met all three icons.

Post M Telus
After I said goodbye to everyone, I took an Uber back to my hotel. As soon as I got back, I called my mom and filled her in on all of the events of the night.
I originally planned to spend the day in Montreal and then take the train back in the evening. However, the night before I left, I realized I agreed to a speaking engagement the night I was supposed to return. There was no way I would make it back in time on the train, so I had to fly instead. There was a lot of drama with cancelled flights and delayed times, but, I made it back!
