I had about three hours from when I got home from before I had to leave for brunch. How I survived the day is still a mystery.
@ Rogers Centre
I met my friend Ayan outside the stadium and we went in shortly after. We had a lot of time before the show was allegedly supposed to start so we walked around a bit. We went night two so there were no more disco ball cups and all the fans were sold out. We were literally left with scraps.
We debated getting merch 320432840 times but I already had a pose 2 shirt from the CD box and I was too broke to buy the whole green sweat suit so I opted out. Ayan got a shirt though.
I was SO excited to get to our seats because I knew they were good. Well at least I thought they were. Turns out they were obstructed view which was NOT what I paid for. I tried to get ahold of a Ticketmaster agent but they were all busy. There was nothing else we could do so we just had to make do.
Post Rogers Centre
Sayak and I tried to get Midnight Cookie but we were too late. I feel like they should've stayed open a little longer in the spirit of Renaissance.

Regardless, the show was amazing. TBH I was kind of fake for not studying the setlist before, but even though I missed some of the old songs, I was HERE for the Renaissance tracks and the essentials. I'm pretty sure I was the only one in the stadium who knew "Black Parade" bar for bar.
Blue Ivy didn't make an appearance, but best believe I did her part for her. Beyoncé should've invited me on stage with her for real (well, actually, I would've had a panic attack, but let me be delusional). Toronto was kind of on mute? It wasn't a complete embarrassment, but it could've been a lot better. The visuals, however, served DOWN.

OTW to Rogers Centre
After brunch, I took a nap and then got ready to go. I felt crazy walking to the subway in all silver, but I had to just stand in it.
I'm gonna be so for real. I wasn't the happiest camper post-concert (and it wasn't the PCD). I tried not to let the obstructed view get to me, but it was hard because I had been SO excited about this concert. I used up my Christmas and birthday gifts for the tickets, and for it to not be what I expected was disappointing. In retrospect, I probably witnessed one of the greatest concerts in the history of live performances. Even though I couldn't always see, I'm eternally grateful to have been in the building.
