Everything I saw on the big screen this month

Dune: Part Two (2024) - 5/5 🪩
I dragged Marci to a 10 p.m. showing on Thursday's release night. I'm still not over it. That is REAL cinema, y'all. I was going back and forth on my rating, but I think I'm gonna stick with 5 stars. The number of times I forgot to breathe was ridiculous. Also, the casting was FANTASTIC. WOW. Hopefully, I get to see this again before the end of its theatre run because there's no way I could take everything in on the first watch.
Lisa Frankenstien (2024) - 4.5/5 🪩
Lisa Frankenstien is, unfortunately, the hit that got away. I feel people will circle back in 3-5 years, and it'll be named a cult classic. But, until then, I will spread the agenda myself. I've had mixed feelings about Cole Sprouse over the last few years, but he can consider himself redeemed with this performance. Also, The Society stans RISE. Katheryn Newton is a genius! I'm so happy anytime I see her on screen.
