Like...? by Ice Spice - 7.2

Queenie came out the gate, SWINGING. Ice Spice is a hitmaker, period. She gave us so much quoting material and this is just an EP. Like..? is a promising debut project and I can't wait for the album! My favourite song is "Princess Diana".

Stick Season by Noah Kahan - 7.1

Even though I was obsessed with the song "Stick Season," I never listened to the entire album. I started listening to Noah Kahan after hearing his feature on "Hurt Somebody" by Julia Michaels. I loved Busyhead and I enjoyed I was/I am, so I'm happy Stick Season holds up. I would've liked a few more distinctive songs, but overall, the project is pretty solid. My favourite song besides the title track is, "Northern Attitude".

Everything to Everyone by Reneé Rapp - 7.8

I watched the music video for "In the Kitchen" when it first dropped, so I'm not sure what the delay was for me listening to the album, but here we are. Obviously, Reneé can sing. I mean, she's the only actress reprising their role in the Mean Girls musical movie, so that says something. This was an impressive debut and I hope she includes Toronto in her tour!

Good Will Hunting (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - 7.6

I loved the movie, so of course, I like the soundtrack too. It was a good addition to the homework music rotation because it's much more uplifting than The Batman, and I needed a bit of a break from Metro Boomin.

Highlights

This month's faves

Song of the Month: "Nobody Gets Me" by Sza

I've been listening to SOS nonstop since it came out. Though "Kill Bill," was my number one for a while, I think "Nobody Gets Me" has dethroned it as my favourite off the album. The number of times I restart it after the first verse is unhealthy. Though I can't relate to this song in the slightest, I find myself deeply connected to it.

Album of the Month: SOS by Sza

I am so so so so so excited to see Miss Solana live in a few weeks!

Artist of the Month: Miley Cyrus

With "Flowers" being a certified hit, I think it's safe to say that Miley deserves artist of the month.
