Very, very sad that I didn't get to the theatre this month :(((
The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) - 3/5 🪩
This film had a lot of hype during awards season, so I wanted to watch it before the Oscars to see what the tea was. Unfortunately, it was a flop for me. I was expecting excellence, but I should've known better (The Green Knight 2021). The performances and cinematography were great, but I had to watch the movie over the course of a few days because I kept getting bored.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) - 2/5 🪩
This was much worse than the book, but it was definitely camp!
The Crucible (1996) - 3/5 🪩
I wasn't surprised to find out that Arthur Miller was also behind the screenplay for the film as this was a solid adaptation. Winona Ryder ate DOWN as Abigail, like that was queenie IDC. Also, John Proctor and I have beef for real because why does he hate women?
