Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé - 9.4
The gospel. If you haven't already, click play on "AMERIICAN REQUEIM," and tell me that your spirit did not ascend. It's been almost a month and I still don't have the words to describe this album. Over a quarter of a century in the music game and she continues to outdo herself. She is in different areas. I laugh every time I see the stans fighting on X because Beyoncé has no peers. They're either dead or legacy acts. I've tried to rank Cowboy Carter, but I'm still unable to. I physically cannot. What I can tell you is that "BODYGUARD" is my current favourite song (It was "TYRANT" yesterday and "SWEET HONEY BUCKIIN' the day before).

Even though Ariana is my favourite artist, I don't think I've listened to Eternal Sunshine in full since Cowboy Carter dropped.

GUTS (Spilled) by Olivia Rodrigo - 7.6
I keep going back and forth on this rating because I LOVE "obsessed," "scared of my guitar," and "so american" but I'm not the biggest fan of "girl I've always been." "Stanger," is cute too but I don't think it's enough to pull up the rating. I'm sure this will change when I have more time to sit with the project.
