Secretly Yours by Tessa Bailey - 2/5 🪩

Literally, the only reason I didn't DNF this book was because I needed a book to write about for May and I knew I wasn't going to finish The Secret History in time. I refuse to believe that Secretly Yours is written by the same literary genius who wrote It Happened One Summer. There were so many things that almost worked but didn't. As someone with anxiety, I'm still not sure what to feel about how it was portrayed through Julian's character. Hallie was also insufferable, and so was her friend. Literally, the only person I was kind of rooting for was Natalie, but of course that had to be ruined too because what do you mean she ends up with #that man in the sequel (I'll probably still read it though). Also, thank you Netgalley for the ARC! Sorry for being super late.
