KAYTRAMINÉ by KATRAMINÉ, Aminé & Kaytranada - 7.0
I was super excited for KAYTRAMINÉ because I really liked Aminé's last two projects and though I wasn't too familiar with KAYTRANADA's discography, I like what I've heard so far. This collaborative album was pretty good but I can't say that it met my expectations. With the way Aminé had hyped it up, I thought it was going to be one of my favourite projects of the year. If all of the songs were as good as "4EVA" and "Master P," it would've been.
Other things I listened to:
Gemini Rights by Steve Lacy
How Did We Get Here by Blu DeTiger
"Visciously Lonely" by The Backseat Lovers
"Lipstick" by Blu DeTiger
"Blondes" by Blu DeTiger
"Flames (feat. Ruel)" by SG Lewis
"Gang Sh*t" by 21 Savage
"AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM (feat. Kendrick Lamar) " by Beyoncé - 9.4
As much as I liked AHAP last year, I didn't really appreciate it the way that I should've until this collab. It was already established that Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar work well together and this remix is EXACTLY what this summer needed. The tour videos of this song are insane, and I CANNOT wait until I see her perform it live.
Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition) by Taylor Swift - 6.6
I didn't love Midnights, so my expectations for the deluxe weren't high. I was definitely intrigued by the Ice Spice collaboration, but I don't think it worked. They're cute on stage together though!
Gag Order by Kesha - 7.2
I didn't get this album during the first listen, but after the second time around, it sounded like an entirely different project. Gag Order was the first Kesha album that I've ever listened to in full and it did not disappoint! "Only Love Can Save Us Now" is just as good as everyone said it was and so is "Hate Me Harder." I can't wait see her in the fall!

Highlights
This month's faves
Song of the Month: "My Year of Rest & Relaxation" by ggwendolyn
REAL music. ggwendolyn has such a unique sound and I love what she's been putting out so far. I didn't think it could get better than "Orion" but ggwendolyn continues to outdo herself and I cannot WAIT for the debut album.
Album of the Month: Renaissance by Beyoncé
The best album of 2022 has returned as the album of the month. With all the amazing tour clips circling my socials and the release of the "AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM" remix, my return to the Renaissance era was inevitable.
Artist of the Month: Dominic Fike
I love Dominic Fike every month, but this month, "Why," "Wurli, "Phone Numbers" and "Acai Bowl" were on repeat almost every day. I've secured my tour tickets and I cannot wait to see him again in August!
