Black Friend by Ziwe - 3.5/5 🪩
Another Audible read! I've really been in my autobiographical bag lately. Anyways, Ziwe is one of my favourite famous people. I'm not really a comedy girl, but Ziwe is one of the few comedians I would pay to see (and I did). Her collection of essays was funny, witty, insightful and relatable. As a Black friend myself, I enjoyed reading her perspective on what that role means, and I saw myself in a lot of her experiences. I haven't read a lot of material that I've related to that closely. I was also amazed at everything she has accomplished so far. Literally every 30 seconds, I thought to myself, "this woman is brilliant."
